Just What I Needed

I'm betting you're gonna love this beauty of a tool belt as much as I do. This is one heavy duty tool belt. This thing is built like a brick outhouse, if you know what I mean. Thick and strong and built and designed to take any punishment you can dish out. They say the fabric is oxford but it sure feels like tight-woven nylon that's extremely durable. Heavy steel buckles and rivets with tight and tough heavy duty stitching plus a super tough steel rod hammer holder that makes pulling out your hammer a smooth & easy joy while you work. You can wear it a few different ways depending on what tools you're carrying. It has comfortable padded suspender type shoulder pads that make a huge difference when you're packing a variety of heavy tools and/or nails, tacks, or screws. You'll really enjoy feeling less fatigued as the day wears on. Every strap and belt is fully adjustable to make the belt fit you perfectly like it was custom designed to fit your frame. If your load is fairly light the suspenders snap right off. They claim it sports 22 pouches but I count 14 plus the hammer holder. 14 is still plenty enough to hold a lot of tools and supplies. You could pay much more for a heavy leather tool belt but I wouldn't want all that extra weight and expense unless you're Fred Flintstone. Right now this baby's marked down to only $29. You're not gonna get better value for your money than that.

It'll work

For the money it does the job. It's definitely not a professional I don't think but for around the house beats a heck out of carrying boxes of nails and screws.

A nice lightweight carrying belt

This is a pretty nice tool belt for this price point, and great for DIYers who need something to hold their gear while they're puttering around the house. The shoulder straps are nice, and I put just about every tool I have and then some into the belt, and it still felt comfortable. It's got lots of big pockets that have no clear purpose, which is a pro and a con. On the plus side, you can stuff whatever you need in there. On the minus side, that means your tools are largely just flopping around in a big ol' pouch instead of being held in place by purpose-built restraints. I stuck my drill in one of them, and the first time I bent down it fell out and put a pretty good dent in the floor. But thinking outside the box, those big pockets would be awesome for alternative uses. If you, say, walk around and make balloon animals at a farmer's market, this would be a fantastic way to tote around all the stuff you need. Or if you're going to a winter beer festival and you need big pockets outside your coat to hold your glass and your camera and hand warmers, this would rock (not that I'm already planning ahead...).Basically if you have any situation where you wish you had more hands to hold stuff and things and fiddly bits, this will get the job done. Especially since the shoulder straps are easily removable so you can just wear it as a belt for lighter loads. But this is a big belt for big folks. I'm 5'9" and 160 pounds, and I had to cinch every one of the shoulder straps to the minimum size to get it to actually hold the belt's weight. And I had about 30 yards of extra belt when I sized it for my waist. But it did fit me, so points for that. With its plastic buckle and vague pocket functionality, this belt may not be professional-grade, but it's still pretty sweet.

Great tool belt

This tool belt is perfect, has great design and quality construction. It has many pockets to carry all the essential tools for an outdoor job. The shoulder straps help distribute the weight so I can carry more heavy tools. They can also be taken off when not carrying as many heavy tools. Overall a great value.

Takes the Weight Off of Your Hips

The best thing about this tool belt is its suspender harness, allowing you to keep the weight off of your hips, I’ll tell you what. There are a lot of pockets, although I feel they are a tad shallow so things may fall out inadvertently if you’re on your hands and knees. As far as the location of the two pouches, you can either have them located further up front by attaching the suspenders with the front clips attached to the D-rings adjacent to the hammer slot/holder, or reverse the suspender clips and then the hammer will hang behind you and the two pouches more towards your back half. If I were to carry a hammer, I don’t think I’d like it dangling in the front so I’d orient the belt with it in the back. However, doing that, it made it a bit harder to see some of the tools so I had to access more by feel. The big pockets are also shallow so items sometimes want to fall out when I’m crawling around in the attic unless I pack in a couple items so they’re not too loose. A velcro flap or something like that would have been nice. Still, I like that it’s very lightweight yet it feels like it won’t fall apart any time soon, and the suspenders really do their job distributing the weight. The waist belt seems like it would accommodate a very large waist. Mine is only 32” and after I snap the closure, there’s a lot of spare belt dangling about that I have to sort of wrap around and tuck in.Oh, and for the record, the two pouch sides are not the same as some have complained about. One side has small pockets that are closed at the bottom, but there are two rows of pockets, while the small pockets of the other pouch are open, but there’s only a single row.

Hammer issue

It is comfortable to wear and holds everything you could possibly want. The only reason it's not 5 starts is that I like to have my hammer on my right side and a place for my tape measure in the front. Although you can switch the pouches around the hooks got in the way. The company may want to alter the hammer holder to allow this. (See pic)

Good Tool Belt With A couple Of Issues

This belt is real handy for working on projects. It allows you to carry a lot of the small items in the pouches and some of the bigger tools will fit also. That said, it would have been better to have one of the larger pouches be a different style that is more versatile. One of the big open pouches is enough. It needs a different pouch that can carry a tape measure (clipped), level, drill holster, etc. Having 2 identical ones limits what you can carry effectively. The style of pouches that come with it will allow stuff to fall out. Even the pockets for pens/pencils is not right.I do like the fact that everything can be held up front so that you can get at the tools much easier, like getting a screwdriver while holding a screw in place.I received this belt with the pouches at the back and was confused until I figured out how to reverse the shoulder harness. It works good now, but needs another type of pouch for different tools. The shoulder harness is actually comfortable and well padded. For the price, it is a good toll belt.I do recommend it for the price, just be aware of the pouch issue.

Sehr gut

Working well so far. However I hope the design could’ve been more friendly to shorter people cause the shoulder part is quite long.

Comfortable & don’t slide down.

Love it, what a perfect tool belt. It’s very comfortable to wear, a lot of other tool belts I wouldn’t wear because they always slid down over my waist or they felt uncomfortable, not this tool belt, it’s both comfortable and stays in place with the suspenders. No matter how much weight is in it. It got plenty of room for tools, I highly recommend this tool belt!!

Solid for DIY, Not Pro Grade

I picked this up for a basement finishing project, not full-time construction work. For that purpose, it’s been a good buy.First off, I removed the suspenders immediately. They’re not great quality and felt flimsy. The belt itself, though, fits well — and as someone who needed the larger size range, I appreciate the adjustability. It actually accommodates bigger waist sizes comfortably.Layout-wise, it’s pretty simple. Both side bags are identical. You get:A larger main pouch for fastenersA smaller pocket that works for a tape measure or small itemsAround four pen/pencil sleevesAn inner pocket inside the main pouch for small toolsA hammer loopIt’s not highly customizable like higher-end bag systems, and there aren’t a ton of storage options. But for a DIYer working on home projects, it does everything you realistically need. The hammer hook is decent, though I prefer keeping it toward the side instead of the back. The loop itself is a little tight — my framing hammer with a claw can get stuck going in and out — but it’s manageable.Quality seems appropriate for the price (around $35). I wouldn’t build a house with it, but for occasional project work, remodeling, or homeowner tasks, it’s perfectly adequate.Pros:Good fit range, especially for larger sizesSimple, practical layoutAffordableDoes what a DIYer needsCons:Suspenders are low qualityLimited customizationHammer loop slightly tightOverall, I’m very happy with it for what it is. If you’re expecting professional framing-level gear, look elsewhere. If you’re a DIYer tackling projects at home, this will likely do the job just fine.
