Git this for my husband for Christmas and he was thrilled. Its awesome quality,supports a good weight amount and looked so nice when it was put up. It was actually pretty simple to install,I just needed to make my attic door space a bit bigger. Its nice to have this and I dont have to worry about falling off a normal ladder or stool getting up there.

This has been a Godsend. We have a shed that had no attic access without hauling out the huge ladder. This worked beautifully. It took some planning and 2 (older) guys to install, but it's been extremely helpful. It IS narrow at the top, so hauling huge items up isn't going to be easy, but it's been very helpful in freeing up shelf space.

All in all this is a totally decent option for an attic ladder. The install is a bit of a pain, but not the worst I've installed. The one thing to do that will make it better is to buy extra bolts for the lower legs. They only come with 4, and really they are much more stable with 8. I had to drill extra holes for the added bolts, but it I feel this is really a necessity.

This ladder is exactly as described. I installed it alone and had no problem doing so. It's not heavy, but it's strong. I've used it quite a bit since installation and it's held up very well.

solid unit, mainly bought to never use again. Thus it seals the opening tight for me noe and the next person that buys this house can enjoy using it.

Nice, sturdy ladder with one flaw. The top five steps are almost flush with the back of the door, i.e. there's enough room for fingers on those rungs but virtually no room for toes. Significant problem for anyone, but especially so for someone with large feet and compounded if carrying something bulky or heavy.

This is definitely better than most other attic ladders I've put it. It's well made, easily installed, and adjustable. I did have to take a little off the length, but it wasn't hard at all.

Very nice ladder. Be sure to measure your attic door opening. I had to install additional wood around the opening to attach the ladder door.

This lightweight stair is rock solid when installed and holds up to max weight stated. Two person install was easy.

I installed these in a room with a ceiling under 7 ft tall. Was able to make the needed adjustments to get them to fit. Reely like the operation of the gas struts as opposed to the spring style we had before. They also seem lighter than the old wooded style.

Works well and easy to install. I love the aluminum frame that’s on it in the way that it fits. I have bought this three times in the past and used it and several other places highly recommend it.

I don’t know why I waited 27 years to install one of these. This is so much safer getting in and out of my attic. I’m not on a 8 foot ladder anymore easy to install..

These are not as heavy as they look. When it got delivered the box corners were crushed. Once I got it open the ceiling cover MDF board was smashed up in the corner. All of the screws fell out of the box all over the place, they were not even put in a bag. Two of the smallest screws must have fallen out that smashed corner or were never included in the box. Once I started to get the ladder ready to lift in the ceiling I noticed it wasn't even square. I feel someone was moving this thing on the corner that had gotten smashed and racked the whole thing out of square. One thing I would note is when you cut the legs off (which is easier than it sounds), check to see if you can leave them long to slide into the bottom legs you slide on. Just seems like if I left mine longer than cut C, it would have made the bottom supports stronger. Also be careful when tightening the lag screws down, they must be made from some cheap metal, I snapped two of them off. Which makes it hard to correct if part of the lag is installed. They do get you a couple extra. I think the unit over all is good. Kind of on the narrow side compared to other ladders I have had in the past. The instructions seem intimidating really but the ladder is easy to install. I had a second hole into my ceiling so I solo installed this, can't be done without a second hole I don't think.

The ladder came and it was as expected with the exception of the aluminum ladder not being parallel with the wood frame. Installed as it was, but it would have been better not to worry that it may not work right.

Got this installed about one week ago to replace an old wooden setup that was past its prime. The aluminum frame is noticeably lighter than expected but feels solid once it's in place. No wobble or flex when climbing, which was the main thing I was worried about. The opening is really the selling point here. Carrying storage bins and boxes up is way less awkward than dealing with a cramped entry. The insulated door seals tight and you can tell it's doing its job keeping conditioned air where it belongs. Installation went smoother than I anticipated. The pre-drilled holes actually lined up, which saved a lot of frustration. Steps have a good grip to them and the handrail gives you something to hold onto at the top. Highly recommended.

Was exactly what I expected. The aluminum ladder is better than the similar wood ladder model. It is sturdy and stable and was simple to adjust the legs. Instructions were clear and understandable.

Easy to install and works great. Much lighter than wooden stairs I have installed in the past.
