Good purchase

We do like the bed so far, looks great, quality is as expected for the price. The assembly took about 2 hrs with 2 people. It would be nice if it had a bit more padding and less assembly time but for the price id give it a 4.5. I had to punch through a hole, the fabric was not cut out. Overall, good purchase.

Good toddler bed

Looks nice and I love that you can have the half side or not. The cream color is nice and true to the picture (we bought it for our son and its not super girly). I do wish the upholstery was thicker/more padding. I did use a 8 inch mattress as another suggested and it fits great and its comfortable. There were mixed reviews on putting it together. I recommends you read the instructions completely all the way thru firstTHEN start putting it together you should be good!

Im happy with the purchase

Great except for the piece in the middle. It can easily break off.

Solid co-sleeping option, but assembly and safety transparency could improve

Happy with this purchase overall. Its a sturdy, low-profile bed that works well for co-sleeping with my toddler. I opted for an 8 mattress instead of the recommended 6 for added comfort, and it fits nicely. That said, assembly was a challengeit took my husband 4 hours to put together. Im also giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish there were clear certifications for chemical safety (like CPSIA compliance), especially for a Montessori-style bed marketed for young children. Still, its a good value and suits our needs well.

Good bed.. not soft

Very heavy and sturdy! Color was on point. Its not as soft as you might think. Its like very thin carpet.

Solid bed frame for the price

We were setting up a nursery and needed a full-size bed frame, so we bought and returned a more expensive option first. The quality on that one just didnt hold up, so we came in with tempered expectations here and this one delivered.Assembly was smooth. The instructions were clear and we didnt have any wait, which piece goes where? moments, which honestly isnt a given with flat-pack furniture. The frame itself feels sturdy no flex, no wobble when you move around on the mattress. One thing to be aware of: theres not much padding on the frame edges, so if you accidentally knock into the sides youll feel the wood. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if thats a concern for your setup.Overall, for the price, wed buy it again without hesitation.

Sturdy floor bed

We really like this bed. Fairly easy to put together. Feels sturdy and I love that the legs are optional, and even without them there are slats so your mattress isnt on the floor. The little middle part makes me feel like my toddler wont flop out and so far its worked for a month keeping her wild sleeping self contained. We like the neutral color. Feels like the furry material will be hard to clean, but its also a color that doesnt show dirt easily as its cream not white. Leaning towards a light tan.We used a twin size comforter so it would fit across the bed and not overhang. Would recommend that set up.

Twin Floor Bed

We have an L3 non verbal autistic son who gets overstimulated and steems alot. I was looking for a bedframe that could accommodate an tent insert within a twin size bedframe. I was extremely frustrated because after fighting with my insurance to cover The Cubby bed, I decided to improvise. I searched for a bed with a tent to mimick that same bed. The only difference is it didn't cost $15K. I will say that Amazon offers alternatives to everything you need. This bed was easy to put together and fits a twinsize mattress. I also purchased a tent from Amazon. The tent frame fit perfectly inside the bedframe. My son and me enjoy this setup. I also bought battery operated lights that hand on the inside and also purchased a tablet (from Amazon) to mimick the inside of that cubby bed (that bed comes with a built in computer) again at a reasonable price. My son is happy with this setup and if he is happy - I am happy! Anyone dealing with autism knows exactly what I'm talking about. This has been one of the best buys I have made so far. It's made sleeping alot easier and very comfortable.

LOVE this bed, BUT safety needs to be improved

I really wanted to love this Montessori bed because there are so many things it gets right\. I love that its low to the floor, making it easy for my child to get in and out independently\. The color is beautiful, the shape is adorable, and it was surprisingly easy to assemble\. Its also very sturdyI can comfortably get on the bed with my child, so it definitely feels well\-built\.The reason Im only giving it 3 stars is because of a major safety concern\. The fabric around the frame makes it look like the edges are padded, but there is absolutely no cushioning underneath\. The top edges of the frame are square and hard, and my child has hit their head on them multiple times while simply playing on the bed\.Since this is marketed as a Montessori bed specifically for young children, I think more attention should be given to safety\. Adding even a small amount of padding beneath the fabric around the top edges of the frame would make a huge difference and better match what the product appears to offer\. If the edges were actually cushioned, this would easily be a 5\-star bed\.

A toddler bed were definitely gonna grow into

We love this bed. We ended up upgrading to this one from the Montessori floor beds with the wood rails because of too many accidents.. The edges on here are really soft and the size is pretty big , my husband , myself and my daughter can jump in there if we need to. Assembly wasnt too bad. I was able to do it within two hours with some assistance with my husband at the end. I know it sounds crazy, but I recommend getting a 10 inch mattress verses the 3-4 inches they recommended to save yourself any back pain if youre gonna lay in there.

Perfect!

YES! Exactly what we were looking for!! Our daughter was done with the crib, so we turned it into the toddler bed but that just seemed to small. So now she has a nice big full size bed, low to the ground and with a little safety rail. Love it because I can lay with her and be comfortable and she has lots of room to move around. Its seems very sturdy and I was surprised with the quality! Very happy with this purchase!

Perfect Bed for a Smooth Transition

It was not easy to assemble and took longer than expected, but other than that, I really love it. It looks beautiful, feels sturdy, and is the perfect size for me to lie down with my daughter while she gets used to sleeping in her own bed. She has been sleeping with us since she was one year old, so this bed is helping us make the transition little by little until she can sleep on her own. Overall, Im very happy with this purchase.

Soft and sturdy

My baby learned to climb out of her crib at 16 months, so we had to pivot to a floor bed before we originally planned. This bed has been great. We wanted one that had a weight limit high enough for us to lay down beside her without worrying, which was the biggest deciding factor. It feels less crowded than I thought it would for an adult (Im 59). We also wanted one that was soft, because we knew she would be climbing. She definitely does climb on it and she hasnt hurt herself. She loves putting her books in and out of the side pockets. Assembly was pretty easy, and it feels pretty sturdy. The front panel that prevents rolling out is the only part that doesnt feel super solid, but I imagine thats because we sometimes use it to brace against as we adults climb out of the bed.

What's the smell? Buyers beware

Update: buyers beware. This bed is highly toxic. Ive left it ventilating for nearly a month and when ever any of us are near it our eyes burn and our skin itches. I didnt keep the box because I intended on keeping it before i realized it had a smell and caused us all allergic reactions. I have no idea how to return it now. They don't pay return shipping which costs as much as the bed. I did get a message back stating they'd give me a paid label and I'd be refunded after they inspect it which sounds sketchy when you normally get a refund when its dropped off for return. Im honestly about to throw it out for our health. It's cute. It was difficult to put together with barely drilled holes and an allen wrench you have to half turn 300 times per screw. But I'd like a response as to what the frame is made out of besides the metal. There is a strong chemical odor that is not going away and I'm worried about the safety of breathing it in.
