These are cheapo beds. The metal is cheap and therefore I do not believe the product will hold the weight it claims. Unfortunately for me I have twins so I bought two if these. Paid an arm and a leg for shipping. Spent 6 hrs putting the first one together and 4 putting the second one together. If you like IKEA furniture but dont have one around, just order this and it will keep you busy. The instructions also have a few misprints as far as what bolts go where. Thats why it took so long to put together the first one lol. If I was you, I would look for one that has better parts and is more sturdy.

Takes awhile to put together but worth the end result! My teen loves it!

Nice and sturdy. The right size, it took 7 hours for me to assemble alone and it's a good height off the ground.

Only reason it gets 4 stars is it could be a challenge to put together. Thankfully its not the first time my husband and I have tackled a task like this. Time consuming for sure. Other than that our daughter loves it!

My 11 year old was so excited to help me build this. We spent a few days on it (with my work schedule, I just couldn��t dedicate a whole day to it.) I did have to re-do a few parts because later I found out that they needed to be facing a certain way, but everything eventually worked out. I told my husband that when we sell the house, this is being sold with it LOL. There��s a LOT of parts. But it was certainly worth it. Now my son has a dedicated homework space & display shelves for his Lego with enough room to still have space to move around in his bedroom. We anchored the bed to the wall and it��s certainly sturdier. However, we could only anchor 1 side because we were able to anchor into a stud. We were not successful anchoring the 2nd anchor into drywall. Still better than nothing. Our kid is happy happy happy.

Our son loves his new bed! His room felt cramped, so his projects started creeping into the rest of the house. We purchased this to add a dedicated workspace to his bedroom and to maximize his floor space. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this bed given the price point. He can comfortably sit up without hitting his head on the ceiling but has to duck to walk under the bed (not a big deal since he sits at the desk and has plenty of head clearance). He's 5'8". The bed was a bit shaky until we anchored it to the wall, now it feels much more stable.

Putting this together with almost Mission Impossible. A few of the holes were not cut the correct size and we had to use a pair of pliers to widen it. Did so because of thought of packing all of that back into a boxes, & lugging it to UPS, was an option! It's a little wobbly but pretty sturdy if that makes sense. It had to do it all over again would probably look in another Direction.

This was the perfect setup for my 13-year-old daughter as she prepares to start high school next year. The unit is strong, sturdy, and well-suited for a student. It provides a comfortable space for studying, drawing, and relaxing.One thing to note is the height clearance. The desk area is ideal for someone under about 5'4". Anyone taller may need to bend slightly to use the desk.Assembly was the most challenging part of the process. It's possible I misunderstood some of the instructions, but I do think the directions could be clearer and would benefit from some revisions. Having an extra set of hands during assembly would definitely make the job easier.Once assembled, we secured it to the wall for added safety, and it has become a cozy little study and creative space for my daughter. Despite the assembly challenges, I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to parents looking for a functional and attractive setup for their child.

Putting it together took a couple of hours and some pieces were a little tight in their fit but it eventually came together nicely. Once assembled and attached to the wall, it is sturdy with lots of very useful spaces. It did shop in two boxes that didn��t ship together. When I received one box without the other the company was quick to respond with further tracking information. We are very pleased with the purchase!

If you are planning to buy 2 of the same beds and putting it in the same room, the lights from each bed will not work independently, one control will operate both lights, both beds will have the same color of lights.

Assembly takes quite a while, lots of parts. Instructions were pretty good but definitely take care with part orientation, I had to take a couple assemblies apart to get them right. The bed is quite sturdy but does wobble when not mounted to a wall. The lighted plexiglass collector cabinets are a nice touch. Definitely worth the price.

My great grandson loves it! It takes time and patience to assemble. It��s very important to follow the assembly instructions carefully. He is old enough and helped put it together. We were very happy spending time together on this project which was priceless.
