This unit is beautiful. Solid pieces of wood, no press board. Assembly took us about 14 hours but if we do another it would probably take about 12. Highly recommend.

The bed arrived via UPS in four HEAVY boxes in great condition. I would suggest you lay out all parts in your large living room, stacked and sorted by part number. There are subtle differences in similar part numbers. These differences are not easily seen on the “instructions”. The instructions are not photographs but drawings with no verbage .There are links to minimalist videos. If you can understand the guy talking, you are more perceptive than me. I had really good help from my sister and brother-in-law also. The fit of parts together is very good. The furniture turned out beautiful overall. There were 4 pieces missing that I made in my shop. Luckily, they were hideable.I set up a table on sawhorses to ease my old back.Overall, my wife is happy with the result.Spread this task out over several days…..

This took 2 people to assemble in an afternoon. We secured it to the wall. Turned out to be a great bed for guests. We purchased a Murphy style mattress and a pillow top mattress cover for extra comfort. Three guests have used it since and it’s still in great shape. They all expressed how comfortable it was.
