Nice, but it could be sturdier

I have received this bed as a gift from a friend. It has been assembled once, disassembled again, reassembled... I didn't have the paper instructions so I used the video and my brain. It was easy, it took two people about 3 hours. It is nice, but not sturdy as I had wished. I have to remind my 5 and 7 years old not to climb or push on the top bed and stairs guardrails because it seems like thwy could easily break with a jerky bush or pull...Beside that I am satisfied... my children love it

14 month bunk bed review

The bed is well built and the stairs/bookshelf is nice. Overall the bed took 4 hours to build. The trundle frame does not roll easily over thick carpet. Our trundle frame eventually broke. Some screws fall out after being pushed against. The paint job on the bed frame is holding up well after 14 months of heavy use.

Very Happy!!!***updtae***the company made it right and sent us all the pieces…

Update **** From 1 star to 5 starsWe initially left a 1-star review because several parts were missing from the delivery. However, the company quickly responded and resent all the missing pieces, providing excellent support throughout the process. We are now extremely happy with the bed. It’s a beautiful piece that truly elevated the room, and the kids love it too.We believe that what defines a great company is not only the quality of the product when everything goes right, but also how they handle things when something goes wrong. In our case, the post-sale support was outstanding, and that means a lot to us. Because of that, we now highly recommend this company. We’re confident they will do their best to take care of you as well.

The boxes are quite heavy

The directions were great, and it went together without a hitch, a very solid unit.

Very good for the price. Some misalignment that requires extra tools

Pros: Very solid and sturdy bed, looks pretty nice once assembled. Having actual stairs is a big plus. I like that the frames have multiple ribs for extra mattress supportCons: several parts do not align with the pre-drilled holes, so you will need to drill some parts to get a good alignment.Note: Definitely requires two people to put together some parts.

Great Value and Sturdy Bunk Bed, But Assembly Requires Patience and Precision

We were recently gifted this bunk bed and wanted to share our experience. Overall, it’s a sturdy and functional piece of furniture, offering good value for the money, but there are a few challenges during assembly that potential buyers should know.AssemblyThe bed comes in three large boxes, and unfortunately, the instructions do not clarify which box to open first. Additionally, the parts for the twin and full beds are mixed between two of the boxes, so you’ll need to open both and sort the pieces before starting assembly. Not all parts are labeled, so having enough space to organize everything is crucial. Assembly is definitely a two-person job—one person to hold parts steady and another to use the provided Allen wrench/hex key. For added stability, consider using wood glue (not included) with the dowels. Some of the bed slats needed light sanding to avoid splinters, which added extra time. The slide was another challenging part, as aligning all the slats with the dowels required patience. The slide is detachable but steeper than expected. The stairs, on the other hand, were more straightforward to assemble and feel very sturdy. However, while some places were pre-marked for screw placement, the magnets for the stair storage doors were not pre-marked, which made installation more difficult. We also noticed that one set of magnets (or the placement of one door) was stronger than the others, making it harder to open compared to the other doors.Design & FunctionalityThis bunk bed includes a twin-size bed on top and a full-size bed on the bottom, making it a versatile option for families. One of the best features is that the beds can be detached into individual twin and full beds, adding to its long-term value and functionality.Once assembled, the bunk bed feels secure, and the guardrails on the top bunk provide good safety. The drawers underneath the bed are not connected to the frame and are “free-floating” on wheels, which may not work for everyone but are functional for our needs. The mattresses fit perfectly, and we were pleasantly surprised that a Twin XL mattress fits on the top bunk.Value for the MoneyFor the price, this bunk bed offers excellent value. The ability to detach the beds into separate twin and full beds adds long-term functionality and makes it worth the cost. It’s a durable, space-saving design that suits a range of needs. While the assembly process is time-intensive and requires patience and precision, the finished product feels safe, sturdy, and practical.Final ThoughtsDespite unclear instructions, some slats requiring sanding, and issues with magnet placement for the stair storage doors, the final product is sturdy and looks great. It did take several hours to assemble, but the end result is functional and secure. If you’re prepared for a lengthy assembly process, this bunk bed is a fantastic purchase. We would buy it again!

Reasonable quality, good value.

I think it took about eight hours to put this together. Mostly single-handedly. It was packed well, and one of the photos is the end of the box. The boxes are heavy. I think the heaviest was 94 pounds. The second was about 90 and the third about 45 pounds.Once you have them, unloaded, it can be put together by one person except for a couple of steps where it’s handy to have a second to “hold things“.The hardware is all labeled well. Each of the pieces has a sticker with the corresponding part number. The only exception is some of the slats for the mattress.Do not try to put this together with the Allen wrench they provide. It would take far too long. Get an Allen bit for your drill. Just set the clutch so it’s not too tight. The instructions are reasonable, but not excellent. Pay careful attention to what is the back and what is the front. This is because the twin mounts to the rear of the full bed. The holes to attach the stairway must be in the right place.Instead of putting together the top bunk, and then lifting it over the full, I decided it was easier to put the sides on the pins over the full bed, and then attach the pieces. That worked out well. One of the things that is not clear is where the slats go. You will see in the instructions three different measurements. If you place the first one as per the instruction at 2.4 inches, just space the rest out. It is a tedious process. I would recommend doing the upper bunk first working from the end away from the stairs. This way you can use a small ladder and finish up with the end from the stairway. As long as you can move the bed out from the wall, the lower slots should go easily. It would be nice if the positions were marked. The rollout bed underneath goes together quickly, although you will have to prop some parts up since you have already attached the wheels. This appears to be the weakest link of the products. The wheels are only at both ends and it would be sturdier if there were wheels in the middle, and if a diagonal brace was added to the design should there is nothing to hold it square. All in all, I recommend this productSuitable for children and our lessons. Probably not sturdy enough for big grown-ups.

Nice bed, frustrating instructions, not enough hardware.

The bed itself, 5 stars, it looks nice and it's sturdy. 3 star rating because the instructions are some of the worst I have ever seen, it didn't come with all of the necessary hardware(we had to make a trip to home depot to buy extra bolts), many holes don't line up properly, and there were many places we had to buy longer bolts for because the threading in the pieces was recessed to the point where the bolts you're supposed to use are too short. The worded instructions are incomplete, you really have to pay attention to the pictures to ensure you're not missing steps. Also, not only were we missing hardware, but, they sent all of the hardware in 4 different bag, everything jumbled together. The bags weren't even labeled, they had tiny pieces of paper within the bags to identify what was actually in the bag. It's a nice piece of furniture, so long as you're willing to get frustrated during assembly, and make a trip to a hardware store to cover the manufacturer's short comings.

double bed

The product was good, the appearance is nice, and the installation was easy, but my daughters are afraid when using it, it makes a lot of noise, it's squeaky. And the mattress bottoms could be more solid. We attached it with spare slats, so no problem for now, it's very good.

Excellent value in a twin over full bunkbed

Love the bed. The quality is good and it's pretty sturdy. I put it together myself. I forget exactly how long it took, but I did it in parts, over two days. Probably not for the faint of heart. There were lots of pieces! I like the steps for younger kids rather than a ladder.

Lousy product

The bed took 7 hrs to put together, way toooo long! The value isn’t worth Wht they charge and it comes in 3 boxes and don’t show up at same time! You can’t get location on all 3 boxes so you sit and wait! Not only that it’s 200$ shipping cost! The drawers side aren’t painted so you see the natural wood not the gray that bed is! Don’t buy this product! I wld like to send back but now not worth the effort! They know this so it’s a Rip Off!
