Several things I wish I had known, or noticed, or had a heads up on when I bought this bed. First the price was good and it looks like it will function as a temporary sleeping arrangement for guests. I wouldn’t buy this to sleep on full time as it doesn’t appear sturdy enough for everyday use.Now the negatives, which there are a few. First it comes in two packages and they ship separately. But they give you only one tracking number so when the first one arrives, it shows delivered and this causes you to hunt feverishly for a possible lost second package. After a few calls I received a second tracking number and it arrived as described. Now, the assembly. I read several reviews about the difficulties of the assembly. But… I’m fairly handy, so I figured I would power through. The instructions aren’t great/clear but they really tried. The instructions would have been clear had I participated in filming, but they get an E for effort. The instructions have a scannable code for each step that will take you to a video of someone competing that step. I actually laughed out loud at one video because the camera man had the pertinent actions just out of frame and was completely useless. The persons assembling the bed where maybe from India? No narration or pointers/hints, just strange angles of Indian men assembling the bed. But the idea to have video help was nice. The written instructions aren’t great but are fairly accurate, The trouble with the assembly is that many parts go together in several possible configurations, but only one appears accurate, You probably won’t find the error until you are several steps further. This requires disassembly on a few steps. Had the parts had marking indicating what is out or in , up or down , it would have made it much easier. The fit and finish of the bed as a whole is subpar. Some parts are not painted well and the materials where cheaply made.I give it four stars as For the price, it isn’t too bad. Hope this helps someone else looking at this bed.
