Bellemave® Montessori House Bed with Fence

This bed is very cute. We bought for my 2 year old. The quality isn’t that great but it works for the price. I will say if you buy this make sure you get a good mattress because the one we purchased was a memory foam and we can feel the slats if we lay on it with her.

My 2 year old loves this bed. We decided to leave the front rail off as she does not like being confined in a bed and to make it easy to lay with her. I love that it has slates under the mattress to help it breathe. The wood is perfectly smooth and a natural tone.

The quality is great and my daughter sleeps throughout the entire night. Plenty of space for her to move around throughout the night and during nap time too.

The bed is sturdy and really cute. The color of the wood is not the same as in the picture. The picture makes it look like it is a grey wash. The wood is yellow.

Bed looks exactly as pictured and the outer wood appears sturdy. My issue is with the wood slats that are supposed to hold up the mattress. They are pretty flimsy and look like they'll break easily. We had to buy extra wood pieces to support the slats so they don't break. Other than that it's a nice bed. I ordered a full size and did not have any issues with spaces between the mattress and wood as other buyers had.

I absolutely love this bed. I bought it for my one year old in a full size so I wouldn’t have to keep buying beds as she grows. She loves it and can move around as much as she likes while she’s sleeping. She has not figured out how to get out of it yet but when that time comes I plan on turning the bed around so the opening is against the wall. However, there is about a 2-2.5 inch space between the mattress and bed rail meet. I’ve tried putting the mattress directly center but from changing sheets and her moving around it slides and causes this gap. I recommend stuffing a blanket down in it or putting a pillow guide that stops a baby from rolling off the bed. It would be great if the to of the bed were removable if one chooses. Other than that it’s perfect

I purchased this for my (almost) 3 year old and she loves it! The side rails made the transition from the crib a little easier and they give me peace of mind that she’s not going to roll out. Some of the other reviews mention a gap between the mattress and the rails so we opted to get a twin XL mattress and it fits perfectly. In hind sight I almost wish we had gotten a regular twin as it would’ve made changing the sheets much easier. It really wouldn’t have posed any safety concerns for me cause the gap would’ve been at the foot of the bed and a toddler would have to be very intentional to be able to crawl that far and stick their face in there, which at that point they can get themselves out. Anyways, I didn’t take part in the installation but my mechanically inclined husband said it “was not fun”. Having two people to do it might make it easier.

I love the frame Great quality and looks super nice! I’m taking a star off for my troubles of ordering a wrong size mattress! description says it’s a twin bed frame but reality is it’s a twin xl. I should have double checked detentions anyways but it is what it is, just be attentive!

For $248 (incl shipping) I got the house bed with frame bed in the color natural. Firstly the "natural" color looked *painted tan* in the advertised picture but when it came, it was natural unpainted wood (it is sanded with a clear top coat applied to prevent splinters). I knocked off a star for that cause I was hoping for the tan painted bed frame shown in the advertised picture (I included pictures of the ad and what it looks like in person). Bed frame was well packed and all parts labeled which made it easier to put together. The roof was a little tricky to figure out but we got it. We have 8ft ceilings in our bedrooms and the bed doesn't look too overbearing for the room. It fit the twin bed have but there is a gap on the shorter side of the bed but it's fine for us, our kid is 3 yrs and would probably lose a small toy or 2 between the gap. It's fairly light weight when assembled yet feels very sturdy and good quality. I am a little worried about my kid hanging from the bars which is clearly warned not to do so, keep that in mind if you have a climber. I do feel like something is missing, I'm gonna drape a sheer curtain to match my son's room over the bed and see how it looks. I added a leaf garland to the front roof part and it looks more completed, hides some of the screws showing too. I'm thinking because the wood is natural, it just has an unfinished look, like looking at real life house being built and still in the framing stage. I might take it outside one day and just spray paint it tan/ivory/blue to match my kid's room.

Nice bed for my toddler. Unfortunately was missing some screws. I contacted the company and they gave me a refund to purchase the screws myself from another company unfortunately I couldn’t find any to work with the frame. So we opted to not use the railing on the bed. Still works just fine and I am happy with my purchase!

We got two of the same beds for my toddlers who share a room and they absolutely love it!!!! They enjoy it so much. They love that it’s a floor bed because it’s easy to get in and off the bed. Also it shipped SO fast and came right on time, thank you!

Instructions were good. Assembly by myself took around two hours. This is my toddlers transition bed from his crib so love the little rails! May need some goo gone to get the stickers off some of the pieces. Definitely worth it for the price.

The bed is good for the price but, out the box it smells awful. The scent of paint is a bit overwhelming and there were some damaged pieces. Hoping I can air out this smell before using. Also, there’s a state of California warning for saw dust. Will update my review over the next couple of months.
